Heart-warming, tear-jerking, laugh-out-loud funny and some that might resemble events that happened in your own lives.

I can remember listening to his stories on The Vinyl Cafe on CBC for many years, read a couple books my parents had and seeing him in concert many years ago.

He has such a "down-home folksy" voice that makes you feel as if you're sitting around the coffee table or fire-pit with him as he tell his tales of Morley and Dave. My mom WILL keep buying me anything Stuart's estate continues to publish, and I would rather revisit the old stories in their original collections going forward other than Vinyl Cafe Christmas of course which is of course the most important story compilation of all time. If you follow my reviews, you will know that I have a soft spot for the stories of the late Stuart McLean. I will always regret that I did not attend his show when he visited our local theatre and have now lost that chance forever.
